Mecca of Sports

Yes people ,I have moved to melbourne couple of months back ( I know some of u might be cursing my luck and some of u might be wondering what on earth is this guy doing there ).But for me I just slowly started loving it .

As soon as I moved here ,There was something called a flemington race dubbed as the race which stops the nation .I think it does , I mean the people on the road , the way they dress to that race ,to the betting and the actual prize money.. to the eupohoria surrounding that race oooh this is something else .I never knew bunch of horses running around could cause such a phenomena .

Next it was boxing day and this time around it was  the Indian team against the Aussies and  like a billion other people i thought this is the time India can win a series in Australia . result I think we all know and as a true Indian cricket fan this is the series one should completely erase from memory.. but I had the privelege of attending the boxing day test match at Melbourne Cricket Ground and let me tell you people.. the experience is amazing ,the people the ground the game oh it was awesome .

Next came the Australian open ,like everybody in the world I watched the top 4 gladiators of the game bring out the best in them one more time and enthrall us and take the sport to a next level.
During  one month of Australian open.. the city has a vibrant feel to it and as the tournament closes on the finals ,it just gets amazing and the finals is a spectacle.

With soo many awesome expereinces  and it happens every year wow ,as a true sports fan I just love this place ,with so many memories I think i can safely say that Melbourne is Mecca of sports .....

ps I forgot to add this ..Ive got the tickets for the F1 Grand prix would be watching from close range the worlds fastest machines on road battling each other ...I know dont get jealous people I will post my experience until then seeyaall.
